Birrieria San Marcos

Best quesa birria in the valley and you gotta check out the daily specials. Just started coming here a few weeks ago and have been going back ever since.

Bomb definitely will be back. I order their birria burrtio and it was packed with meat. The rice was soft and the beans were good. Super yummy!!! Also had two birria tacos which were delicious aswell. Fast and friendly service. Nice dining area and decor

I usually don't eat tacos but I will if it's these! So delicious & make perfectly. My only suggestion is that I wish they gave a complementary tiny cup of consume. Instead, you have to pay $5.00 for a cup.

I've been coming here since they were a single food truck that went viral in the city of Van nuys and constantly had a 1o 3 hour line outside. Luckily that's no longer the case and you can get your food what's a minimum wait time. Everything I've tried here has been excellent. From the queso tacos to the mulita's to the vampiros to the burritos and now the ramen. And FYI everything is about $1 cheaper if you call them directly or order in person versus ordering through Yelp. However there is a 4% credit card use charge.

we arrived around 10:05 happy that the internet was wrong and they do in fact close at 10:30! we were very happy about that we ordered the quesobirria tacos and they were great!!!

This is just the best spot to get birria from 10/10 always Service is also good. I like that you can order over the phone and just pick up the food. If i had one complain is the seating maybe get and umbrella? But service and food is great!

RUN don't walk- this place is soooo good omg!! Found this after a quick yelp search for birria tacos, I've been having a massive craving lately ever since my bf made them at home. We got here on a Monday night at 8pm and we were the only ones in line. They have a parking lot and street parking. This is not a sit down place, you walk up and place your order to go! The red and green salsas are delicious and the red has a nice kick to it! Love the spice! We ordered the soft taco birria and the hard shell with no cheese for me (dairy free) and gluten free on the corn tortillas. My bf had the quesobirria tacos all hard shell. They were beyond phenomenal! We can't believe we haven't been here before!!! The meat was so tender, flavorful, and they are beyond generous with the servings (massive portions of meat!) The consume (beef broth) is an absolute must to dip the tacos in! Makes the meat so juicy and it has meat drippings in it, taste like they just made the batch the broth was sooo hot and the tacos were crunchy and delicious. They come with lemon slices, radish and pickled veggies. They didn't have guacamole tonight, so we'll try another time. They accept cash and card the total for the 5 tacos was $26 Very fairly priced for the portion and quality! Can't say enough good things, we both agreed these were 10\10! The girl that placed our order at the register was very sweet and great at answering any and all questions. Highly recommend giving this place a try (I have a feeling they will have a line around the block the next time we go!) Our tacos were ready in 10 minutes. Easily located under a bright flashing sign saying Birria, quick service, pickup and go! Great to eat outside or take home with you. I'll be dreaming about these tacos for a while!

I got regular tacos with consome. I thought it was great and the portions filled me up. However I did pay something like $14.90 for this meal which I felt was a bit pricey. Also the pickled onions were so good!

Delicious Birria!!!!! I've been to this food truck but this is my first time coming to their window and it was just as good!! Unfortunately, we got here before closing so they didn't have too much options but we were still happy with hat we ordered and super satisfied. We didn't want to be "those people" who show up last minute and order food but we were so hungry and aren't from the area and I want to thanks Liz who helped us out. She wasn't annoyed or anything with us being there late. She was very friendly and was happy to take our order. The food is always that much better when the people that work there as super nice and happy to see their customers happy. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area again. This is not a sit down and have a meal kind of restaurant. You order at the window and get your takeout. A good option for a quick bite next to your car or at home. In my opinion it's the best tasting Birria in the area, and I'm comparing it to Villalobos and LA Authentica. The depth and flavor of the Birria is always consistent. I love to get their torta, ramen, soft tacos, hard tacos and large soup that comes with dipped tortillas. Service is always kind, but they do take a while if you order at the window. I recommend calling ahead for pickup to save some time!
